not for me…
Weep
not for me my love
Tears
that fall from your eyes
Need
not cry for me
For
I know the pain you feel
For
I too have loved another
Who
couldn’t love me whole
A
love that can’t be returned
Is
like a gift never opened
Like
a child never born
It’s
like a sunset just missed
Like
a song never sung
It’s
like a first kiss forgotten
A
first love that never happened
So
weep not for me my love
I’m undeserving of your tears.
