Vultures
Can
I share your bed tonight For
I fear being alone with my thoughts Will
give me too much time to think Thoughts
left to wander among the sorrow Plunges
me further into the abyss Memories
once thought buried, lay in wait In
the moment of your weakness They
feed on your insecurities Leaving
your soul barren For
all the vultures to pick at you piece by piece Until
all that is left Is
what could have been. Copyright
