Imagine You…
The thought of you kissing another man The way you kiss me now shatters my heart Every time that picture plays in my mind To imagine you in such a vulnerable position Allowing someone else to touch you so familiar You respond to his touch with such passion Scars my heart every time I see you and he’s inside The words crossing your lips are too profane my love God wouldn’t appreciate you calling his name in vain As your screams echo through the night Finding life in the walls they will live there forever A remembrance of a love you once shared It’s my name you now scream with abandon When your love comes down in violence Just as quickly you’re calm and you catch your breath again I will wait for you my love as the past fades away Like a dream not remembered but a faint recall it did happen To imagine you with any other man but me is blasphemy.
