The thought of U not being here
Never enters my
mind
It’s as
foreign to me
As never having known you
Never having seen your smile
To conceive of
an existence
Without you in
my life
That thought
never enters my mind
Just to think of
you
And the joy it
brings me everyday
The day can’t
speed by fast enough
The express
train rumbles much too slow
My feet don’t
walk fast enough
Until I get home
to you my love
The thought of
you not being here
It just never
enters my mind…
