In a few hours it will be like you never left
It will be like you were always here
Keeping me company from so far away
You were frolicking in my thoughts
Whispering sweet music in my ears
I can feel myself smiling quite easily now
Not the pensive melancholy one I so easily wear
But the one that catches me off guard
Even when I’m by myself and you’re not around
Thoughts of you are making me smile
In a few hours all will be right with the world
You will be back in my arms
I will be wearing nothing but a smile.
