Sleeping
Now
You
are sleeping now Insomnia
finds me speaking to the night My
body is awake craving what it knows it cannot have Desire
isn’t born of common sense But
a selfish need for pleasure So
peacefully you sleep As
my spirit dances with the night Unable
to find that elusive place That
you so easily find You’re
an angel to my darkness Only
when you cast your light Am
I able to see beyond myself You
are sleeping now, Wake
soon, before I lose my mind. Jéan-Pierre,
Dean
