Sleeping
Black Beauty… Where
did you come from my love One
day my life was empty, lonely Now
here you are and I couldn’t be happier I
dreamed you into my life every night You
appeared as a thought, a feeling A
ghost of a figure shadowing my heart’s desires You
materialized into this beautiful creature Sleeping
now soundly besides me Everything
I wished you to be has come to pass A
woman special to my heart is all I asked Someone
who will soothe the melancholy of my soul Bring
a smile to my face even in the saddest of times Sleeping
black beauty in all her naked glory Lays
dreaming right next to me. Dean Jéan-Pierre (Digging
some cool mellow reggae music that S.B. made for me…cool) |
