Look
not to my words To
know who I am In
between the metaphors, similes Verbs
and nouns, they’re merely a futile attempt At
unearthing the façade, the mask Beneath
the words Listen
to the words unsaid Follow
the trail of the unfinished sentence Periods
are but a pain in the ass annoyance Giving
you false hope that there is an end I
prefer run on sentences They’re
like a jumble of emotions with no direction Or
a misspelled word that catches your eye Like
a bad accident, You
can’t look away it holds your attention Just
behind the adjective lays the secret It
should be self-explanatory but if not, Here
comes the verb to further expound on the noun That
is me. Dean
Jéan-Pierre (Confused?
Look behind the words the meaning will be evident. If you really think about it
we’re mixtures of verbs, nouns, adjectives, similes, run on sentences….yada,
yada, yada…..)
