It
Say
the words
She
needs to hear
So
her spirit can be lifted
A
temporary reprieve from what ails her mind
Can
be a welcome diversion at times
If
you have it in your power
To
somehow make her feel better
It’s
a gift you have to share
Anything
less would be selfish
She
would do the same for you
Without
asking anything in return.
Say
the words she needs to hear
Her
heart needs to smile before it breaks in two.
