are things you need to know
My words aren’t able to convey the depths of my emotions
0n this evening when the night is quiet, listening…
Waiting for a sign to light up its sky with a billion stars
I will tell you the secrets of my heart
That you already know because you feel them everyday
It’s in the way I hold you close
It feels like your heart is inside of me
And they are beating together in unison
It’s in the way my thoughts wander to find you
Lifting you up when you’re down and you do the same
When I hold your hands I can feel you exhaling one long breath
All your fears can be put to rest
Love has finally come home to stay.
