Morning Walk…
The morning
air is crisp, fresh
The savage
beast of summer has been soothed
Replaced by
spring’s sweet kiss
All around
me there is beauty in this world
My senses
enjoy nature’s scenery
On my daily
trek to the train station
A breath of
fresh air invigorates my mind
Every step
beauty passes by and I commit it to memory
Later on
when the day has slowed down
Sleep waits
to steal me away,
I will
recall a moment in the day
When this
life truly amazed me.
