Love,
Welcome
Knowing
that someone loves you
Their
heart is now open to the possibility
You
can now cause them such unbelievable pain
Heartache
you might never recover from again
Spend
the rest of your life searching for answers
Searching
for your happy self lost somewhere in time
And
yet, knowing all of this, you let love in
Seemingly
unafraid of the consequences we all must pay
To
dance with love in that rarefied air
Requires
a heart that knows no fear
Even
with eyes wide open you are blind to her trappings
When
love comes in the rules no longer apply
Where
love takes you is at her discretion
For
most of all we can do is follow
Hoping
her grace will be kind to your fragile heart.
