Thank You
Thank you love For making me so
unafraid Of inviting you once
again Into a place you
once called home Where once was
barren, laid in ruins An empty space
filled with loneliness Untouchable, cold
with hurt Through my façade You reached into my
darkness Found what was still
beautiful Nurtured it back to
life You touched my heart
with your hope One of your many
redeeming qualities Today, here I stand A graduate of your
fortitude and strength And I thank you love I thank you. Dean Jean-Pierre ( I was on Yahoo messenger and a word or a phrase that was said to me sparked this one. I was thinking of my Aunty Talin and how she embodies the spirit of love, of giving and the words that flow from me are a direct tribute to all that she’s meant to me. There are some people that no matter how much you might be able to give them it would never be enough or equal what they’ve contributed to your life. So it is……)
