In The Name of Love
You love me
With the innocence of a child
Trusting in the beauty you see
Allowing your heart to lead the way
Never worrying if they are monsters around the corner
Believing me to be your Prince Charming in shining
armor
Even armor is penetrable by the subtlest of maladies
And I wonder sometimes if you miss me as much as I do
you
If you did, then how miserable must you be
To constantly live in the arms of loneliness
Knowing that everyday will be like this
Until this distance no longer exists
Another day will be spent without the one you love
Another night will the shadows on the wall
Taunt you with their dance and the voice inside your
head
Continually ask you why,
Why do you put yourself through this torment
All in the name of love you answer
All in the name of love.
