If
only she knew... I
gave U everything...everything U need gave
U sweat, blood & tears all
I asked in return was for your love to make me whole and
as long as we lived you'd never want another as
I stand here alone at the altar, it's going on an hour still
U haven't shown, wish I could blame it on the weather sunshine
is pouring through every window but
my heart is overcast and I'm the last 2 one to know all
along we weren't meant to be somehow I couldn't see we
were as similar as night and day deep
down, where truth resides I knew U weren't going to stay knowing
this couldn't stop what I was feeling as
time passed I had myself believing my love was enough for two always
somehow knowing, inevitably U would take your love away leaving
me a broken man without your love If
I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing that
may sound surprising to some but what is the purpose 2 life if
not to be loved by the woman of your dreams even
if it's 4 a time the experience would've been worthwhile too
many times we sleepwalk through this life unaffected by life's great and
only in retrospect... we
realized what we've missed but then the opportunity is gone the
one you've loved is dead and gone hopefully
looking on from the heaven above on
the right hand of the heavenly father If
only U could tell she's the only one you've ever loved that
not a day goes by her memory doesn't come to mind every
word you've ever written is a memorial to her every
tear cry is in remembrance of her if
only she knew...if only she knew even
on your deathbed, the grim reaper hovering over your shoulders the
pain of living causes U such excruciating pain she's
still your only one desire...after all this time all
U have to do is close your eyes, see her smile after all this time U love her still...after all this time. (This work is copyrighted)
