If I could somehow love you
The way that I did when we first met
If I could somehow feel the loneliness that I felt
Just knowing I wouldn’t see you today
If I could somehow dig deep within my soul
To find the love for you I felt so long ago
All I have now are the memories to remember you by
And even those have somehow grown old
