Hallelujah One
foot in heaven The
smaller one here one earth The
footprints of a little boy stuck in time I
hear the Lord sometimes calling me home He
smiles at me and calls me son Just
like my Daddy would if he was still around Not
a day goes by I don’t wonder what if Somehow
God in all his Godly mercy spared the life of my Daddy When
he heard the screams of my beautiful mommy Did
he cry with her as she sobbed for her husband lost Did
he somehow wish he could right his wrong Did
he cast his light on my soul that night Giving
me the gift of words to express my grief Hallelujah,
words of the Bible plays a song in my heart Everything
remembered so clearly The
day we buried our Daddy Hallelujah,
still cries in my heart. Dean
