Empty
Arms…
My
arms are empty There’s
no love to hold If
I could wrap my arms Around
my loneliness Suffocate
its breath Until
all was quiet The
only sound to be heard Would
be the voice of happiness Greeting
me like a long lost friend Happy
to be home from its long journey No
questions will be asked Just
an embrace welcoming her back. Dean Jéan-Pierre (I
still like to write in the melancholy even if I don’t visit as often as I once
did. It just serves to remind me that it’s always around the corner)
