Do
You Mind?
Do you mind if I partake in your beauty Own it for a
moment Walk in its
shadow, step for step Absorb your
aura to know how it feels To have been
close to perfection leaves me speechless You are far
too beautiful for words my love They
couldn’t capture the subtleties of your beauty How can words
adequately capture the curves of your walk Or express to
others how my thoughts become transparent When you cast
your eyes my way, I feel like a child Caught doing
something naughty and I’m too afraid to move For fear the
moment will be lost and you will be gone So I stand
here until the moment has passed The moment
was real and not merely imagined You were here
and you were mine for just a moment. 8-5-05 Dean
