Day Will Come
The day
will come when you won't miss him as much
You will barely remember you were in love
When he comes to mind
It will be with fleeting reminisce
Of a man you once knew
And with the passing of time,
I hope it heals your heart
When you look back you will find
Some joy in having known him
And maybe every once in a while
You will think of him with kindness
As he does you every single day.
