Closet
Don’t be afraid to be yourself Let me into your closet It’s dark in here, let the light shine in So I can see who you are behind the curtain Not just a figment of my imagination I conjured up in a dream But a real person with feelings Don’t’ pretend to be nonchalant Wave me off with a slight of hand As if my mere presence is an annoyance You know you love me just as surely As when it rains you will visit the melancholy Open the closet let some fresh air in Love is waiting for you outside Come
have a drink-it won’t kill.
