Cemetery...

car horns angrily blowing
pedestrians taking in the sights of Manhattan
somewhere in the far off distance
a familiar tune rides in on the wind
the leaves sway in unison
like a captive audience listening to their favorite tune
oblivious to everything that 's happening
the pigeons peck at everything in sight
somewhere beneath the dirt and grass
I wonder if the dead are listening too...
