Catch
a Fire
Keep warm my love it’s cold
outside Even
my thoughts won’t enflame you On
a night like this to catch a fire Would
be your only reprieve Winter
has lost her yawn She’s regained her swagger
It will be hours before warmth Can be felt again My arms will stay open For as long as it takes To catch a fire my love Will indeed be a pleasure. Dean Jéan-Pierre (There’s this Bob Marley (the real poet) song of this
same title, and I used it because the imagery is instant when you say the words.
I feel the urge to write on this night. I feel about 5 or more poems coming
through…here comes another one…If you allow yourself to be open…)
