Black Boy…
On the cusp he stands
Unaware he’s on the edge
Danger is lurking all around
But he’s blind to the pitfalls
That can alter his life for all the wrong reasons
And who will save this child from himself
Another black boy lost
Take my hand a voice says to him
Daddy’s here to lead the way.
