Before
You How
is it I existed before you came, my love
Life
before you was merely an existence An
empty space being occupied by a ghost Now
that you’re here Those
days are but a distant memory, I
can barely recall Your
presence has seeped into my every orifice Those
empty spaces are now filled with your love Loneliness
is a thought that no longer occupies my heart Melancholy
is saved for rainy days now Love
is the sole occupant of my being It
is what wakes me up every morning. Jéan-Pierre,
