Assume...
Assume,
that all U needed to live was love
would that be enough or would U want more
would a love that nurtures your soul
a love which gave you faith to hope for something better
and the only compensation was knowing you are loved
would that be enough for you?
assume, that after years of being alone
you find the one you've been waiting for
life couldn't be better
then out of the blue she ups and walks away...
she shatters your heart beyond recognition
was she really your fated one?
or was she a promise of things to come?
assume, everything you've believed to be true
assume that one day you found out it wasn't
would you have the resolve to persevere
to find your own truth, to find out who you truly are
when there's nothing left to believe in
assume tomorrow would be your last day on earth
would you have any regrets
of things you should've said and done
would you die with your heart content
or would u feel as if life cheated you
to know you haven't tried your best
there can be no greater sin...
