Arms
of Night The
night is filled with thoughts of her own But
on this night she listens to the thoughts of another Never
judging, just listening is sometimes the best answer She
covers her in her arms As
she unburdens all her pain No
heart should hurt like this for love She
has seen it infinite times before to know Words
of wisdom would fall upon deaf ears In
the throes of being in love, Every
moment is urgent A
thousand lives are lived in a day Ordinary
moments are filled with poignancy Love,
though filling, can drain your soul Leaving
your heart empty when love moves on On
this night, the night listens as another lover grieves For
a love that died an untimely death. Jéan-Pierre,
