You are always in my thoughts

I will keep you close in my heart

Not a day goes by

That you won't come to mind

And I know we may not be as close

As we once were

But the memories of the times we shared

Will always be special to me

Maybe one day

You will feel the need to call me friend

But if that day never comes

Then always know you are still special to me.
