(Sunday) Her
beauty reminds me of the night Dark
and mysterious, yet unflinching She
smiles as if she knows the secrets to the universe If
I’m allowed, I too, will walk on sacred ground Hand
in hand in the footsteps of lovers past She
walks besides me, not behind me In
my eyes she’s my equal in every sense Her
unseen beauty is just as startling As
the smile she gives to the world And
we are all blessed to cross her path. (written
8-1-05 the first lines came to me on the Metro North train as I came face to
face with an aura. The words you read were then born. Funny, I wasn’t supposed
to be on that train and by chance of coincidence there I was being inspired. Is
there really such a thing as coincidence or is it all fated?)
