Wonderful Spring Day
A
leisurely stroll in the park
The
day stands before us
Not
in a hurry to go anywhere
Waiting
until we arrive to hear us say
What
a wonderful day it has been
She
loves the praises so familiar,
But
never tiring of the adulation
Of
the joy she brings on a day like this
A
kiss between lovers
An
embrace between friends
A
kind word between strangers
The
excited screams of a child seeing a bird in flight
The
day holds a captive audience to all of these scenes
Tomorrow
will come with even more surprises
As
with everyday now that spring has arrived
Like
its birds,
Will
sing the praises of every beautiful day
As
the sun is slowly setting somewhere beyond the horizon.
