A Secret…
You don’t know it
yet but I have a secret
It’s not much of a
secret I must admit
It’s easily revealed
if you looked at my face
Beyond my face, my
eyes will tell you the story
That’s being written
in my heart
An epic novel of love
in bloom
Of the heroine so
close to giving up on love
Just in the nick of
time before all is lost
The poet writes in and
fills her heart
Together they walk
into the sunset
Accompanied by
life’s beautiful music
Oh, what a story they
will tell the grandkids one day
Of a love that was
almost lost but found right on time
When love was ready
for their hearts once again.
