A
Personal Relationship She says you speak of love As if she’s your own personal friend As if you have an understanding, a relationship That few can comprehend And she says if you know love so well Then why is it she’s hurt you before And for a moment you allow that thought To seek out your heart to find the answers You realize as you’re thinking A smile your heart is finding The question is rhetorical at best One should never ask these questions of love But be grateful she found time to grace you with her presence Extending to you the charity of her benevolence.
